Program Format

Young IT Educators offers 3 levels of instructions for three consecutive years. Admitted students will commit to a 3 years program. Currently, Young IT Educators cover four (4) major areas of Information Technology;

  • Computer Networking
  • Computer Hardware
  • Software Programming
  • Cyber Security

Levels

There are 3 level of the 3 year program. Each level prepares you for the tasks of the next level till completion of the program

  • Beginner (1st year)
  • Intermediate (2nd year)
  • Advanced levels (3rd year)

Semesters

There are 2 main semesters in a full 1 year program.

  • 1st Semester is from September to December
  • 2nd Semester is from January to April

Successful completion of 1st and 2nd semesters will advance a student to the next level till student complete the full 3 years program. Admitted students may choose either a full track or a short track program base on the assessment of the skill level of the student.

Tracks

  • Full track program: Student who are admitted for a full track program will join the beginner level and progress through to advance level at the end of the 3rd year
  • Short track program: Student who are admitted for a short track program will either the intermediate or the advance based on skill level assessment. Student who join intermediate level would have to complete both intermediate and advanced levels. Student who join advanced level only has to complete the advance level programs.

Schedule

Young IT Educators offer training two days a week – Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Application/Registration

Young IT Educators requires a completed and signed application/registration form. Students are required to submit application/registration forms on/before the application/registration deadline.

Fees

Each admitted student is required to pay in full $50 per semester. Student who requires assistance should complete the scholarship application form.

Scholarship Program

Student who are interested in Young IT Educators Scholarship program should complete a scholarship application and submit with their program registration/application. Successful application will receive full amount of scholarship to cover all fees.
